True Review
The other review here is referring to a different RV park. This one is at Angel Lake. Access is via a narrow paved road that can be a bit frightening. I have camped her at least 6 times and always enjoyed the beautiful views and numerous hiking trails. This is a Forest Service campground.
Don't ...
Just don't stay here. No ground maintenance at all. Sticker weeds and dead weeds and uneven dirt and rocks in each site. My elderly dog kept falling in uneven terrain. Crude and crass campers alight here, verbally accosting in a foul manner their dogs and personally attacking other campers. I haven't felt this sick in years because of that. I reported it to owner Steve, and he mentioned another RV site up the road we could go to. At 8 pm. In eleven days of RVing across the Midwest, this is bad as we have seen. Both site-wise and tenant-wise. Low lifes. Just don't.
*An RV waste station, with potable water, is available in Wells, NV at the Flying J Truck Stop at I-80, exit 352 - no fee.
