NOT closed
It has gone from a state park to a metro park but is very much open. Stayed there on October 18 and was very nice. Not sure why one reviewer said closed unless hadn?t actually been there. It is OPEN and very nice.

Now called Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park
Nice BASIC campground. No drinking water, dump as you leave. 5 electric sites many primative. Paved pads with table and ring. Very small playground, boat ramp, fishing. Clean and patrolled. Just a simple getaway campground. YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS THROUGH RESERVE AMERICA prior to camping.
