Biggest state park campground in OH

While there are lots of campsites at this state park and it is close to Lake Erie (you can walk to the lake), the sites are among the narrowest sites I have ever seen in any state park. The C loop sites are particularly tight. Choose the B loop if you can. A & D loops do not have electricity at the sites; B & C loops do.
There are only 3 shower houses throughout this huge campground to serve all of the campers. There are more bathrooms, but there still aren't very many.
There are lots of things to do at the campground--basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, swimming. The beach area has very shallow water way out into Lake Erie.
Campsites have only electric, no water. There are very few water faucets around the campground and you have to block the road to fill the water.
Most of the sites are reservable (an $8+ fee in addition to the campsite) and only walk-in sites are available if you don't reserve, so there may be lots of sites open but nothing for you if you go without a reservation. Don't much like that system.

No disappointments here.

Fantastic campground. Clean and well managed. Activities abound. Short walk to beach. Nice camp store. Big Halloween celebration. Five star campsites. Beautiful.
