Traveler Tips

Traveler Reviews
Completely unresponsive
Can't even provide a rating. Tried for two weeks to make a reservation. They don't answer the phone or return voicemail messages. Only after 2 emails did I get a response--a three word answer.
They don't communicate and don't care about your business.
Do bother!
Loud and Inconvenient
Ratings were high for this place, but I don't think I'll come back here! It's really a trailer park with a few RV sites. Check-in staff was all business - not very friendly. Site was nice and shady, but that was the best part of this park. I didn't dare leave anything out at night - lots of "transients" walking thru. The park repaved the road while I was here and didn't even have the courtesy of giving me a head's up. (Roads in and around park were blocked most of one day) The park is north of Portland, so getting anywhere south is an absolute nightmare. The 5, the 205, and the 84 are parking lots almost every time of day. Good grief. Airport, train, traffic, and screaming kids in pool make this park too loud for me.
Clean & Convenient
There is a good mix of full-timers, seasonal, and nightly visitors. There is some airport noise, which doesn't really bother me. Bathrooms are clean, and the grounds seem to be well maintained.
Bathrooms are clean, and I have found the office polite and professional, and doing their best to keep the fluid reservations. In July, by EOD there is rarely vacancy, but they do a good job trying to accommodate you once you are in.
What I like most is the access to the shopping center, which has almost every store a RVer could need. It's so convenient, that I found myself rarely leaving the island. There is access behind the mobile home park to a quiet and scenic path along the river.
