Just Travelling Thru

Our first time staying; just passing thru. On the lake, many well lit piers to fish from. Temperature conrolled bath house was gross had mold growing on the shower walls. $35 per night, had basic cable, water, & electric. Level dirt sites, with trees. Small s tore onsite. Staff friendly; watching football game with others outside by fire.

Family friendly

My family has enjoyed staying at Taw Caw for several years. We have enjoyed bonfires with other campers even though we stay in the motel. Friendly people, clean rooms, great fishing and a relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?

Great Family Camping

We had a great time at Taw Caw. We felt right at home from the moment that we walked into the office. This is the place to enjoy "Southern Hospitality" at it's best.

The Best!

Taw Caw Campground & Marina is absolutely the best place to camp and stay on the Santee lakes. My family has been going here for years, as permanent camp sites, transient camping on the waterfront and motel accommodations. Warm, friendly atmosphere. We researched and visited other places around the lakes and could not find anyplace we liked better than Taw Caw. Very affordable. Check it out. You'll go back year after year!

This place was HORRIBLE! The covers on the beds were stained and dirty, the "clean" sheets on the beds had mystery hairs on them...NOT worth the money...stay somewhere else!!!!
