Great stop off of 95
Stayed here before and it?s a good stopover on our way north or south on 95. Sites are spacious and very nice setting. Good dog park too. Lots of noise from 95 but it?s only one night and it didn?t make a lot of difference to us. Couldn?t hear inside our rig.
Nice park
Large spots. Reasonable price. A bit far if you want to go into Charleston but we did it.
Unhappy at New Green acres
internet is impossible. Don?t camp here in a rainy season, mud and puddles everywhere.
Nice and convenient!
We stopped overnight on our way to South Carolina. It was a bit muddy and I would suggest checking the site first. The sites are large with nice space between sites. Cable and wireless worked great. Dog park is large and our dogs love to go off leash to run around. Easy on and off 95, gas and restaurants very close to highway.
Nice park
Not far off highway.. Easy check in,nice pull through large spots
Good for overnight
The good: easy to get to from I95, shaded sites, plenty of room, pull-throughs and the price is right.
The bad: the cable and the 15-amp electric doesn't work. This happened to me 6 years ago and it still isn't fixed.
So So
Great price, super long and wide sites, very level. No ice or groceries of any kind. Bath house is poor, grass needed cutting, only one dumpster at one end of park. If you don't have a tow vehicle or everything with you you would be out of luck.
One- night Stay
Stayed at New Green Acres RV Park for one night (June 2nd - 3rd). Two people in a 21' Class C RV. We arrived past closing and were instructed to fill out a form. Available sites were listed and we were instructed to cross out the site we picked. Hook up was a breeze. Showers were large with an attached dressing room. There was a dog playground as well! We met the camp's parrot when we paid in the morning. The site is REALLY close to I-95 with a gas station right there with super low rate. I would stay here again. We were also discounted with AAA.
Nice place for overnight stop
This park serves its purpose well.. As a great overnight stop. I could probably spend a couple of days here, actually. Every site is a pull through. Clean bathrooms. Small, well kept, playground and clean pool. Lots of pine trees for shade. Easy to access from interstate.
OK - Not Great
Stayed overnight on way home from Florida to Virginia. Pull through was good. I had to get the single axel trailer up on a tree root to get it level.
Hook ups were ok, a bit muddy on the way out. They could use some gravel to make the pull through ruts a bit more level and cleaner.
The men's bath house was in poor shape, but functional. I tried two showers before I found one that was functioning properly. I had plenty of hot water so it worked out OK. My wife didn't use the public shower. Visit was in November so road noise was evident, but not noticeable at night.
Would only stay here while transiting to or from home.
Downside is that I stepped on dog poop just before leaving and made a mess of my shoes. Why don't people pick up after their dogs???? To give them credit, as we were leaving someone was out picking up dog poop in another part of the campground as we left.
Paid $30 for full hook ups plus cable TV.
