Traveler Reviews
Nice over night stop
Very quite park.
Close to the Corn Palace
First of all, don't trust your GPS to get to this park. It is just a block south of I90 at Exit 325. Our GPS sent up MILES north of there.
That said, the park has lots of trees. Nice on a hot August day. Sites are close together; we met our neighbors instantly. And the owners seem to want to put people close. Part of it is that they have double deep pull thrus, so the first people in go to the front of the pull thru. That row fills up. Then they start putting people at the back. If you want to leave before the people in front of you, it's a back up.
Nice pool. Free mini-golf. It looks like they are updating the bathrooms. The women's room had new doors on the toilets. The showers had double curtains with a seat in between but were very old and worn. The men's were very new but old-fashioned; concrete block showers, wooden and tile floors, no seats.
Mitchell and the Corn Palace are close and the Corn Palace is well worth visiting. Don't miss it if you are in the area.
It is a Good Sam Park.
