Nice, friendly, a little pricey
We stayed here for three days to spend the weekend with our grandsons. They had a good time but didn't take advantage of the several activities that are available and cost some extra cash. They mostly enjoyed the creek flowing right behind our campsite. That was great and the sound of the babbling brook made for some intoxicating times and great background for sleeping. The cost was $70 per night / $210 total. Some of this was the extra adult and two kids.
Restrooms were clean and relatively newish. Although one toilet was leaking causing the mens room to be wet in spots. Showers worked well but they were the push to get water type. You had to keep pushing to shower. And there was no temperature adjustment. Too hot for me, but probably just right for my wife.
Pretty park, lots to do, but pricey.
This park features small but very beautiful sites (nearly all of them adjacent to one of the 3 mountain streams that run through the park). There are tons of activities for kids and families (pool, mini golf, playground, etc). They also have a nice outdoor movie theater that offers nightly movies. The owners are very friendly and campground clean and well-maintained. Only one small drawback-- the bathhouse showers are push button and non-adjustable for temperature. The water initially was freezing cold, and then turned too hot (nearly scalding temps). It was tolerable for adults but way too hot for kids. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay at this park.
