Worst experience ever

I if I could have given it no stars I would have. This is nothing more than a gravel parking lot with some patches of grass. When we were escorted to our site they first put us behind another camper. Looking out our front window was the view of the back of another RV that we were about two feet from. I then asked to be moved because our power cord was not going to reach the outlet. They then put me into another site. When I asked where the water line was he pointed to an irrigation box. I removed the lid to find two water lines covered with cob webs.

This definitely is not a family camp grounds. There were more campers and what appeared to be broken down cars in storage than there were campers. The market is not much of anything. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Their description of the camp grounds is very deceiving. It was so bad we didn't even spend the night. Left after about an hour. Didn't even have cable tv to take our minds off the poor condition of their grounds.

Friendly Owners

Although to look at this park, it appears to be pretty much like alot of well maintained parks, but the owners and the people helping run and maintain this park is what makes it special. When we got here and plugged in our surge guard it said there was a problem. The owner, Tommy, and his maintenance person, Randy, spent several hours trying to help us figure out what the problem was by switching their wires around both at the pedestal and main breaker box. They let us move to another spot and also called in a repair guy at no cost to us. Long story short, it turned out to be our surge guard was bad. We enjoyed the rest of our 6 days there and they do make you feel like family. Can't say enough for their hospitality. The only down side is the wifi, but they do warn you it's not guaranteed. Enjoyed live entertainment on Saturday night. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here in a 39ft motorhome.

Great Place to Stay!!!

The Grand Ole RV Resort is a great place to stay. It is family owned and operated and they make you feel like family. It is a very quiet, relaxing place. They have food and music about twice a month. It is a very fun place to stay I will definitely be going back!
