Wonderful State Park
Stayed for two nights in March 2016. Great RV spots, which are paved and mostly level. Great playground and plenty of hiking/biking trails! Pool was closed, but would also be a great activity when open. Bath houses were very clean and modern. Will definitely be back!!!
Nice State Park
We actually really liked this State Park. The recreation is great with lots of trails for running and mountain biking, and there is a boat launch. However, we stayed here 2 weeks and were unable to get a site with full hookups, which made it challenging to not fill our tanks before leaving, as we used the public bath facilities. The main drawback though was that we probably had the muddiest site in the park. The only paved sites are for handicap accessibility. The price was good though. We were also told that they offer a 25% discount in season for active duty military and a 50% discount out of season for retired military. We will stay here again, as we made note of the better sites. Overall, it's not a bad place to spend a week.
