Beware!

Our GPS alerted us of being over weight as we drove over their bridge, and we only have a 32' class a with toad. My Mother passed away In Colorado the day we arrived. Dear friends from Marysville brought dinner to us that evening and were charged $6 for the "priviledge" of entering the grounds, even though they explained the circumstances. When we advised the office that we had to leave a day early, we were told no refunds. Would have to talk to the "manager." After leaving several phone messages for the "manager" who was never available, an underling called to advise us there were no refunds period, no matter what the circumstances. We have never been treated this way at a park and have been traveling for years. While we will return to Townsend, we will never return to Tremont and urge others to be cautious!

Great Campground!

Right outside the Smokey Mountain park and away from the " busy side " of the Smokies.

Great Place to stay!

We stayed at the Tremont during spring break of 2012. We stayed at site A28 right next to the river and it was awesome. There was a busy road on the other side of the river, but that was no big deal.
