Friendly? NOT

We stayed here the beginning of September, 2016 with our Good Sams group. We had booked this stay last spring so plenty of time for them to tell us of any special rules they had. We arrived and 2 of us had our dogs with us. One couple is in their 80's and have 2 little dogs that they always put up a pen for right at the door of their rig. We have a pen for our dog and also at times tie her out so she can lie under our 5th wheel which is her favorite thing. Well, we did our usual thing with our dogs and pretty soon the manager comes along and says we can't have pens up for our dogs nor could we tie them outside. They wanted them in the RV at all times except the times that you were walking them. I said if they were going to make the 80 yr old couple take their pen down, we were all leaving, and expected our money back. She said NO, we would not get any refunds (they make you pay at the office before they will allow you to go to your site). So, we stayed because we are all retired and on limited incomes and had already paid in advance for 4 nights.

As far as the physical accomodations, there was only one paved road and the rest were just gravel with stone down. They had lots of ruts and the paved road had many broken areas. They mostly had full timers in there, some you could tell had been there for years. The speed limit was 7 MPH but let me tell you, the full timers pretty much ignored it. Our site (we weren't on the paved part) was not level and the people next to us (one of our group) had the back wheels of his motor home off the ground, the site was so unlevel.

My husband and I had just returned from a trip to Maine and back and had stayed at MANY parks in MANY states, and none of them had a problem with our dog or gave us any trouble whatsoever. I say, don't go here unless you don't have any pets and only plan on staying a night or so.

Older Lady at front desk is a NIGHTMARE!!!

We stayed there for a couple of weeks this spring. My husband's job brought us there and it was the only place that still had availability after the hail. We were traveling in our brand new trailer with our 2 children! When I made my reservation, I talked to Mercedes, she was very sweet. In fact, all the grounds keepers and staff were really nice and they take good care of the place. But, they have the nastiest older woman working the front there, she is just a mean person. We have traveled literally to over a hundred rv parks and I've never paid money to someone so awful. The second another RV park opened up, we took off ASAP. Good luck with that wench!
