Will visit again

Very clean, office very helpful. Gravel sites but very flat. We will keep this park on our list but bring white noise to cover the trains and automobiles:)

A safe, secure night off the road

Dalhart is a very big and busy city with many intersecting highways, this is a much needed RV Park in the right place to get off the road. This is a big park with permanent residents, as well as long term temps and nightly travelers. And yet with all this it is neat as a pin, very orderly and controlled. The travelers section is a little closer than the rest but still with room for slides or awnings. There are long pull through sites with full hookups. The nightly section is all gravel, the roads are black top. Wi-fi was Tengo Internet and very good, cable was over 50 clear channels.
The park is off US54 and across the street from the railroad, there can be some noise but most is buffered by park buildings and shrubbery. The park is actually very quiet for so many spaces, everyone must go to bed early.
The park is very well lit at night with individual lights at each site's power pedestal and street and walkway lights all throughout the park. Very comfortable!
There are plenty of dumpsters and just no mess anywhere. There are two bathroom buildings each with a single room bathroom, one for men, one for women. This same room also has a shower. Though small, they appeared to be very functional and were obviously carefully cleaned. There is also a small laundry.
There are some grass areas, including a grass dog walk and a small kiddy park with a basketball half court and swings. Good place to sit in the shade. There are shade trees scattered about throughout the park.
The management here is dedicated to offering a clean and orderly park that is safe and secure for a night off the road. I would say they have delivered 110%. Tonight they are full, the management will try to get everyone in and tonite they did, but a reservation wouldn't hurt.

Comfortable

Nice place to stop on our way to Kansas. Spaces are gravel and pretty level. Quiet aside from a train here or there.
