would not adives staying at this park

first of all the electrical literally stinks. we have been having problems with our electrical for a few weeks now. the elctricity surges and a few of the people have moved due to their air conditioners burning up. we have had quite a few problems with our electricity. i am sure our air conditioner is well on it's way to burning up. the outlet we had to plug our rv into ended up melting our plug but of course since it was our plug we have to fix it ourselves even though it was the trailer park that caused it to melt. the cable has been screwed up for the past week and even when we got cable back the picture is so fuzzy you can barely see anything. the manager does nothing to help with issues instead he acts like it is an inconvience for you to even let him know if you are having issues. the maintaince man josh is awesome and will do everything he can to try help resolve an issue. the only good thing about being at this park is that it is as access to I10. the insect issue is rediculous and you will slap yourself stupid trying to keep mosquitos from biting which they start as early as 3:00pm. ticks are just as bad and we have had to check our kids on a daily basis and have found ticks on them quite often. when it rains some sites flood. people speed through the park and do not watch out for kids. the permanent residents that have kids do not keep an eye on their kids and the manager does nothing about it. the kids will knock on your door and then run off so when you open your door there is no one there, this happens at 2:00AM. keep a weedeater handy because the mowers do not get close to trailers but if they do check your cable cords and sewer hoses. we had a few issues with someone siphoning the gas out of my car which caused us to have to buy a locking gas cap. other people in the park were having issues with people breaking into their vehicles and stealing gps systems, phones, radios, etc.... i would not advise anyone stay here unless it is a very short trip.

do not stay here in the summer

Continuous electrical problems, we have had multiple neighbors that have moved out because their a/c burned up, and ours is on the verge of it now. In the middle of the day the electric surges. The voltage coming out of my plug with nothing running is low, it is 107 volts. We are on a 30 amp site in the middle of the park. Numerous big speed bumps, which is good because all of the kids running around, but bad for your trailer. Manager shows favoritism toward permanent residents. Maintenance man does a good job, but they are understaffed for all of the problems there are. Wi-fi stinks, if you can get on it, it kicks you off about every three to five minutes. Our cable is very fuzzy. When it rains the sites have about 2 inches of standing water and mud. From what I understand you can also park cargo trailers here, and they charge an extra $35 a month, which is reasonable. the washers cost $1.25 and the driers are $1.25. There is a pool table in the back wash room, but it's always broken. Most of the roads have pot holes. The dark haired lady in the office named joanne is very friendly, but the blond Amanda is very snooty with an attitude. Rick the manager won't take care of stuff when asked, you have to find josh the maintenance man driving around. he usually tries to take care of the problem. The coke machine in the back wash room usually either spits out the wrong drink or half full drinks. They have a meeting room, but it's never opened, they also have a weight room that is never opened. They lock up the laundry room at 9pm. the pool is clean sometimes, sometimes its green. the bugs are ridiculous, mainly mosquitos, tics and ants. My daughter got in a ant bed and got about 150 bites on her. We pulled tics off of my two sons, me and my wife. You can't walk out side after dark with out mosquitoes swarming you And eating you alive. I do not recommend staying here in the summer unless it is a must or just an overnighter. And if you stay, try and get a site tward the front, the electric is better up there. They also told us they were not affiliated with good sams club, when after the fact, we found out they were.
