A place to park
Sure it's only 150 yards or so off of I-10. Yes, the couple of garbage cans were overflowing with trash. Yup, the mens and ladies bathhouse with one shower each, toilet and sink were there. Don't know if they worked as I was a bit nervous to try the plumbing through the cobwebs. And yes, there are only 12 sites with a few taken by local workers (who came and went quietly and friendly).
But, it had good 30 amp, full service, level, pull through, ez access, quiet, friendly little gal at motel check in, no registration needed.....just pay your $13 bucks (passport) and go pick your spot. Att cell/data good here, no shade to speak of so sat tv fine. What else do you need if looking for a quick, safe overnight in this part of the world? We'd stay again if passing this area and needed to stop. We were in a 40' fifth wheel.
