Nearby, Smaller Park w/ Great Views

Visited here 08/28-30/2020 in RV spot 02. It was about the hottest weekend of the entire camping year. The view of the lake and sunset from this spot was wonderful! We had a lot of shade and a nice area adjacent to the actual RV spot with a picnic table and fire pit. It seemed that all the RV spots had a great view of the lake, with spots at the loop turnaround (14-18?) were slightly more shaded and less in view of the lake. We hiked a short trail that was well maintained. Will hike more of the trails when it's not so hot. Restroom/shower facility was very well maintained. Nearby Old Fort Parker is worth the trip, and nearby Baby Clay's BBQ is a pretty good BBQ joint. Will definitely be returning!
