Pleasant Stay
We stayed a little over 5 months and really enjoyed it.
Our spot was behind the front
of the park and under shaded trees. It is a little misleading when you first enter the park a lot of stuff around some rv’s
They have a locked gate at night and we never had a problem. The owners and Wendy are always very helpful.
Lackland Graduation
If you are coming to San Antonio for BMT at Lackland, Alamo River is very close and great place to stay. We stayed in an RV, my folks stayed in one of their cabins and the kids camped in a tent.
Didn't fish but plan to come back and so some fishing and bike riding in the woods. Saw lots of deer and it was very quiet and peaceful.
So close to the Alamo and we enjoyed our stay, really liked that they gave us the Military Discount.
Alamo River
Wow, what a great place
Been to several others but wish I had found this one first
