run down in need of TLC
Park should be CLOSED
sorry to say this was the worse stop I have EVER made. They have NO activities going on other than golf, church & bingo. It is basically a motor home park with a run down RV Park & golf course connected to it. Roads are bad & many permanent residence have opted to drive in the dirt around the huge potholes & missing road. NO waterfront access is available, the mini golf & playground are no longer here & the pool looks like it wont hold water. very few trees & a dirty dry golf course, most office phones have been disconnected. NO wifi. the worse part of this park is in 2 weeks I have seen NOTHING done to improve things. It is very run down & the improvement that have been started have never been finished. If you choose to visit whitney I would suggest staying away from this "resort"
