Inks Lake

We stayed three nights here in our motorhome. This is a very large, nice park on the Colorado River. Most sites are easy to back into although they also have several pull through sites. We had a back in site with the lake just a few steps from our door. And the showers, restrooms and park store was only a short distance away. The fishing was excellent when we were there.
WiFi was available but was "on again, off again" but I am anxious to return and try it with my new booster setup which has really improved performance in other places. We were able to receive several TV stations out of Austin with our standard rooftop attenna.

Nice Stop

We spent one night here in our motorhome enroute to an FMCA convention. Locally there is not much to do but Balmorhea State Park and Davis Mountains State Park are a short drive away. Also it is a short drive to the McDonald Observatory. Although this park is located just off IH 10, we did not notice any highway noise at night. The park is nice with full hookups and level gravel pads. If you enjoy desert scenery (as we do) you will enjoy this park. The water here is fine for everything except drinking. Do not fill your tank.

Caballo Lake State Park

We stayed here one night in our motorhome while returning from an FMCA convention. We stayed in the Riverside Campground which is on the Rio Grande river just below Caballo Lake Dam. It was a beautiful, well maintained campground. We would like to return here in the near future and try some of the fishing in both the lake and river. Just walking along the river was peaceful. The campground host was extremely nice and helpful.

Lakeside RV Park

We stayed one night at this park in our motorhome while enroute to the FMCA convention in Albuquerque. The park is well maintained and quiet. After checking in, we were escorted to our site and directed in parking by one of the staff members. We plan to return in the future when we can spend more time here. Cable TV and WiFi worked well.

Excellent Park

We stayed 3 days in this park in our motorhome. This was our first time to use WiFi in a park and the connection was faster than our DSL at home! This is a well maintained park with several well shaded sites. We were escorted to our site by a staff member who took us in the proper direction for parking.
