WOW!

10 min. walk to the subway right into Manhattan. View of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, clean restrooms and laundry. Other than that, it's a parking lot. But WHO CARES - you're in NYC!!!!! We were just there to sleep! and for $58 per night for a family of 5, you really can't beat that. We are definitely staying here over and over and over again. Love love love it!

I wish there were more stars than just 5

This park was amazing. The people were incredibly sweet, the park was full of trees, the spots were huge with a fire pit. Dock to fish off of and a ramp for kayaks, etc. Space Center right across the water. Sun rise over the water. Clean rest rooms and laundry in two spots, great WARM pool. Best place to be for a launch and just for some amazing camping. We ended up staying there nearly 4 weeks in a pop up with our 3 kids. They loved it there and so did we....one of our top three favorites during the first part of our nomadic life.

Great place!!

Great wifi, great laundry - BEST BATHROOMS EVER!!, mini golf, play ground, pool (which wasn't open while we were there), hot tub, club house, horse back riding, splash pad for the kids (also closed at the time), great sites, nice people and right across from the beach (great surfing for the kids). Love love loved it! Stayed here in a pop up with three kids.

Most awesome!

Loved this park! Very small and pretty much right on the beach. Our sprint 3g stick worked well, but then became sketchy, so not the greatest. The beach was awesome and we had beach fires. Friendly people. Bathrooms were ok for a state park. No laundry, but there was a laundry place down the street. Great surfing for the kids to learn although the beach was covered in seaweed, etc. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed here for a week with our pop up and three kids.

We would not stay here again

It was clean and right in the city, but the area of town seemed sketchy and we were warned about keeping stuff locked up at the park. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Great play areas for the kids. We stayed there only one night and got out.

Nice and close to Carlsbad Caverns

This is a great park for a number of reasons for us. Clean, great laundry, indoor pool (avoiding the wind/dust of the desert), awesome game room for the kids and an amazing playground. The showers weren't too bad either. The kids loved this playground more than any of the others we've been at since becoming nomads. As an adult though, it was kind of blah....the caverns were great, but nothing much else to do in town and we pretty much had to get our food at Walmart (not a plus). The wifi was good as well.

Middle of no where!

This park was awesome. It was the middle of no where - 10 miles from anything and in the valley with an amazing view of hills all around at the end of a dirt road. No pool, paid wifi (even our stick didn't work), clean rest rooms and laundry and nothing around for miles. It happened to be just what we were looking for at the time. It's nice and small and we stayed there for a few days before we hit the road again. It's not a place I personally would stay any longer (with three young kids and a pop up trailer) as the kids need a little more entertainment...but for somewhere secluded and quiet - it's awesome :)

Nice clean park with a great view

After searching for a park that will accept a family (ie: under 55), and a pop up, we found Conchise Terrace. We were only needing one night, but would stay longer if we were staying in the area. The wifi was good, as was the laundry and the club house. The gym was a tad dated. I did get an odd look when I tried to use the sink in the kitchen while some older people were there using that part of the club house. It was quite uncomfortable as if I was not allowed to be there. But, we were only there one night....although I definitely got the feel that it was a place for the 'older' crowds. This would be the only reason I wouldn't give it the full 5 stars. However, if I was a senior who wanted to be around seniors and not have a ton of kids running around, I'd rate it a 5. It's all about perspective :)
