Has complete hook ups. Clean rest rooms and hot showers. Tent sites along with full camer sites. Right across the street from Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall. Lots of food gas and whatever near by....
Going to Sturgis Bike Week and need a camp site? Book early and enjoy. I have stayed here in both tent and camper. All times have been great. Clean, stuff to do and not that far from all the bike week goings on. Need to sleep at night? This is the place. You can ride into town and go nuts all day. Get back here and kick back with normal people. Not full of all the burn out kooks you get in town. This is a laided back place you can enjoy. I give this place a 10......
This is a State Park. A very nice and new State Park. All the sites are like tucked away so you have some space. They are not all that big but just right. Very clean and well kept. Not a lot to do at the campground, but thats what I like, R & R. This is a great place to go and hang out.
This park is very clean and right off highway 41. I mean right off, short drive into park. They need to work on their WiFi some. Hard to get on and they seem to know nothing about helping you get on. They have a lot of full time campers that doesn't leave a lot of spots to pick from. If you like trains, this is the place to be. There is a train track right next to the park. Trains come through about once an hour. One way they are blasting their horn. The other way you just hear what sounds like a train getting ready to go through your camper, lol. But for the most part it was okay camping.
Have been to this park a few times. It's family owened and very clean. The sites are a little odd. They have both back in and pull through. The pull throughs are like back to back. So your door side of your camper is facing the door side of the camper next to you. You kind of share your spot with the next person. When you pull in you pull in one way and the next person pulls in the other way. It all works out, just a little odd. Not a lot of grass in the pull throughs. Pool is very nice. The camp store has all your needs. This campground is just a few miles south of I-94 on State Road 465. Outlet Mall and Lake Michigan are just north of the place a few miles. The WiFi is FREE and works very well. You can pick up Chicago TV from your camper. All in all, this is a very nice Camp Ground, and I will be returning.
Just did 4 days at this park. First time camping here. Park is super clean. Restrooms are clean as well as the showers. The showers are water nuts. I mean the you set your water to your liking, no timer or butten to push. Turn it on and shower like your at home. They have a great pool thats a little walk away. Camp store is okay but not a lot of stuff to pick from. If you like TV make sure you have a dish, no TV out in the woods. They have sunny sites and sites in the woods. Whatever you like. Just elec. hook ups. Water filling spots all around. Trails to hike on. Lots of nice trails along the river and other places.
This park has been there for 100 years. Well maybe not that long, but a long time. If you have kids this is the place to be. Kids have everything to do here. Amusment park has a waterpark boardwalk skyride and rollercoasters food. All, just a FREE tram ride away. Or you can take the FREE boat ride to the amusment park. Showers and rest rooms are a little old but always clean. This is a KIDS place. So if you don't mind kids it's great. If kids are not your thing there is a newer park (Yogi Bear) right nextdoor (owened by the same people) but a little higher in price. More of us old folks nextdoor.
