Casper East RV Park

This was the worst park we stayed in during our 3,000 mile trip. To start with, the park is poorly maintained. There were trailers in front of our coach with extension cords draped across the road. They had a joke of a miniture golf course that they actually charged for. The pool was between two buildings, almost as an afterthought.
The worst, though, is that they indicated that it was a quiet park. There is a railroad track that runs right next to the park. I'm talking no more than 25 feet from the park fence. This is an active track. I would say that we had at least 5 trains come by during the night...and they blew the whistle right next to the park. So much for quiet.

Pueblo South/Colorado City KOA

This was one of the nicest parks we stayed in during our 3,000 mile trip. It was very clean, but it had great ammenities, like fitness room, miniture golf, pool and game room. The owners spared no expense or attention to make this a top notch park. Besides a dog walk, they even have a pet playground with toys for the dogs. This was a great park and I would go out of my way to stay here again.

Custer Crazy Horse

We checked out all the campgrounds in the area, and we personally liked this one the best. They are all rather rural, and not easy to find a level site anywhere. We were in the middle of a stand of trees, giving us a true feeling of camping. WIFI was a bit "iffy", but it did work from time to time. Pool was clean. The young man who worked the office in the late afternoon seemed more interested in watching movies on his computer than assisting guests, but otherwise, a nice stay.

Salt Lake City KOA

Very nice park. Friendly people. Pool was good. Level site with lots of trees. Park is close to freeway.
They recommended the Red Iguana (Mexican food) and it was excellent. Rates were good.

Albuquerque Central KOA

This is a very nice park. Very clean with great ammenaties. Great pool. My only complaint would be the service. I tried calling the park directly the evening before with some questions, and they didn't answer the phone. The next evening (in the park) I tried to use the internet and discovered I needed a pass code, but it wasn't in the pooklet. I called the office about 7pm, and they were closed. It seems they forgot to give me the card with the WIFI code.

Mountain View RV Park-Sundance Wyoming

We were looking for a central place to see Devils Tower as well as many things in the Sturgis area. This location worked well. This is a moderate priced park with many amenities. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well kept. They have a well stocked store, laundromat and pool. The views are great, especially from the upper level. I would definitely stay here again.
