Wonderful week in a beautiful location

This was our destination for a week in North Carolina. Location was part of city's camping, tennis and golf services all of the same name. The site was level, backed up to the water, tree surrounded - fall leaves were beautiful! There was a picnic table and charcoal grill at each site. The golf course was a Pete Dye design and a challenging beautiful course. The bathrooms were stalls. There was a washer/dryer at the bathrooms. We would definitely stay again. No discount.

Great site on a riverside

Nestled at a riverside. Level site, under trees. WiFi available. Bathrooms were near the park entrance. We would definitely stay again. It was very quiet.
Good Sam discount brought the price to 30.44, tax included.

Great Park, Call for reservation early in day

We stayed twice, once on trip to destination and once on return trip. Both night about 2 weeks between, the park filled up.
Easy in and out. Gravel sites, with tree, cable and wifi. Only one wifi unit at a time which in today's wifi world was very limiting. There were separate bath rooms, each with sink, toilet and showers. Nice general store with basic needs.
It is right off the freeway, but the noise was minimal.
Good Sam discount brought price down to 24.03 (tax included)

Great support during Tornado Warning

Arrived about 3 hours before a storm hit the region. Tornado warning and sirens the night we were there. Park support opened main building for all. Great support.
Site was good, level concrete pad, cable. Showers were clean with individual stalls with curtains. Although park almost full, easy in and out access.
Stayed one night on trip east, we would stay again.
Good Sam Discount was applied to the daily rate of $35.00.

Excellent

Nice campsites, raked prior to arrival with full hookups. Shaded area. Nice breeze off the lake offset the hot august temperatures. Camp area volunteers were very helpful. Fun "get to know" your neighbor events, such as chili competition. Close to San Diego sights at reasonable rate. Pools clean, with plenty of reclining chairs. Although we did not take advantage of there was fishing and paddle boats. Very relaxing. Stayed 4 nights.
