OK for Overnight

This is a strip of pull through sites with water, electric and sewer behind the motel. Sites are pretty level. No showeres. But beware the grass burrs! The free breakfast in hotel is very good. Wifi inside hotel only. Price seems a bit high.

Beautiful Setting But Not Ready For Prime Time

This is an event/party park (movies, live music) for tenters that is being expanded to serve RVs. The park is very pretty with trees and grass and nearby river, but it is primitive for RVs. Parking is on a gravel lot. There is no sewer, but there is a dump service. Toilets are porta-potties, and shower is outdoor with propane tankless heater, which we enjoyed using. The park manager is very helpful. The music venue is on the other end of the park, and we did not hear it. However, the movie waa nearby and blasted until 1 AM. Ticks are a problem, and we are still finding them in our rig at our new campground. The biggest problem was power. After our A/C tripped our low voltage alarm (102V), we discovered that our power came via a daisy chain of 5 30A extension cords 150' from a breaker on a pole. The owner was not sympathetic to my concerns about potential low voltage damage to my rig. Most of the spots unlike ours had a small 30A box (not standard RV box with breaker) and did not seem to have voltage problems. I hope this campground gets its act together because Omaha desperately needs another full service campground.

Good Basic Campground

Not fancy but good park with the basics. One of the few decent full service parks in Omaha area. Self-service check-in. Level gravel sites. Very low prices ($15 30A). Small playground for kids. Wi-fi poor but McDonalds in nearby Glenwood and nearby rest area with wi-fi. Shopping in Glenwood but Walmart in Council Bluffs 16 mi north. Also Camping World. Pretty drives in nearby Loess Hills.
