We stopped here on the way to the keys with our class a towing my suburban. First venture out with the extended rig so i was trying to find the easiest spots. After a horrible night previously in a north carolina campground we were hoping for something nice. This fit the bill. This campground is beautifully maintained with very long pull thru's. really nice crowd and quiet. We have two young children and are always concerned about landing in a party park. Excellent overnight and we will be using in the future on our way back and forth. We may even stay a few days next time to check out the area. Big rigs there is a travel center about 1/4 mile outside the gate and this is only 1/2 mile off 95. Excellent stop. Thanks for a great time
I looked for nearly a month for the right spot in the keys to take my family. We were traveling with two rv's and trying to get spots next to each other. Sunshine was the only one that could make it happen. While this park is a good ways from key west it is an excellent place to stay. There is a marina with charter boats and sunset tours. ( see rich for a great sunset tour) you can get beautiful waterfront spots. This place is just off the seven mile bridge so you can access everything in the keys within an hour but still come back to a VERY quiet park at night. The pool here is great and there are activities for adults and kids. Now mind you this is not a 5 star 2000 site lot but it is well kept and clean. We toured the other 5-6 comparable campgrounds while down here to make sure our money would be well spent on another trip and it is my opinion cost to location this campground wins in the keys. Thanks for a great time sunshine. We'll be back again soon.
