Old park, clean restrooms, quiet, good access from two directions

Older park showing it's age. Lots of monthly/longer residents (some with flower gardens).

Sites are wide enough for large rigs but close to neighbors. No BBQ grates some picnic tables...sitting on gravel. Not really lawn except at ends of rows...

Quiet despite nearness to Hwy 101

Marginal WiFi...sloW & intermittent (this kind of WiFi is why people carry MiFi)

Restrooms/Showers old but kept clean

Secure - gate entry & tire spikes out of the exits (like parking ramps)

Might stay again. Staff friendly

Great camp-out style campground

This State Park campground at the edge of Santa Rosa has shower (coins if you want hot water), adequate restrooms, good security, bike trails, horse trails, a separate swimming area, beautiful lake, and a restaurant adjacent to the swimming area.

If you pay for camping there are no other permits required.

Good roads and a few RV PAVED SITES (rest dirt/gravel).

Busy all summer, mostly tenters, and people were respectful & quiet.

No electric, accessible water available down the road (every few sites), and a dump station.

Nice 5 days/nights here. Fun to be in a no frills situation, and so quiet this close to town!

Good campground - might stay again

Plenty of space, well kept restroom and shower (single shower unit for entire campground).

Let us pick our space, and the staff are friendly and great. The campground is in a clearing and sits in open sunlight dawn till dusk (no trees at the sites over a couple years old).

No fire grates, and only round plastic tables as opposed to picnic tables. Grounds are well kempt.

WiFi was spotty (on and off and on and off) for both days (3 nights) we stayed. And the office closed at 5-6pm and the staff goes home.

I realize it's the middle of the Redwoods, but for this kind of $$ ($40 day W/O Good Sam's) I'd expect a bit more of the ammenities. We didn't even discover that there was ONE SHOWER unit (thought there were none) till we overheard a conversation at the office our last day there.

Not on the map...

Really great forest camping (adjacent to a lodge)…

We loved the atmosphere and the spacious site, the clean restrooms (with cold showers).

Awesome primitive camp.

CALL AHEAD AND SAVE A SPACE!!!! We called that morning & when we arrived late afternoon there were people standing around hoping for cancellations.

Don't go to the trouble of driving the rim and then not get a spot!,

In fact you don't have to drive the rim road if you come from the Southern most entrance to the park. If we ever come back that's the route we'll take.

Rim Road in an RV is like driving on the edge of a knife while navigating switchbacks. You also gain over 1000 feet in elevation, so uphill, switchbacks, big rig…NEVER AGAIN!!

Older park run well by nice folks…

This is a combo RV mobile home park, and the two are separated well. It's right on the riverfront, quiet and small.

Very hospitable staff. Let us look & pick our own site. Great afternoon shade.

Park WiFi was fairly good and dependable.

Clean bathrooms & showers which show their age, but were kept clean.

We'd stay again with no hesitancy.

No credit cards but they took a check (or cash) and Good Sams discount.

What a great park!

We stayed 3 days/nights and had a great time. Guests over twice and we took advantage of the clubhouse to play cards and dominoes.

The sites were level and well maintained, the park well managed, the staff friendly and the facilities very clean.

We plan to stay again.

We give it a 5

Quiet, courteous, great rest rooms/showers (immaculate), helpful staff.

Took Passport America for 2 nights $36 cash (total).

Blew a tire coming into town on Saturday afternoon late, and the lady at the desk knew where to send us.

Highly recommend.

Level paved sites, grass strip between us and the neighbors, and even though we had folks on both sides with slide-outs, we were never cramped.

Laundry was well kept and fully functional (Washers $1.50 Dryer $1).

Wonderful spot in the middle of nowhere…

Came to enjoy the Custer Monument, and this camp ground was a gem.

Good hosts, great facilities, well planed and level sites, immaculate bath house and restrooms - all modernized.

WiFi was passably good, and the trees in each site were planted to shade the afternoon brutalizing sun.

We really enjoyed it a lot here.

Pretty nice get-away park…

We stayed 3 days to access Spokane, and it's a nice peaceful park. The train comes within a couple blocks and some days it was once an hour, but that didn't really bother us.

Nice sites, fairly level, but when it fills up at night, some of the biggest rigs (40 footers) had to negotiate a bit to get in.

Trees, nice bath house, both showing their age. Trees are huge/tall, and the bath house while very clean is a bit dated.

We paid $32 day tax included with Good Sams
