For the 55+ folks

This is a LARGE adult park with just about everything you could want for things to see and do. We came to visit some friends and only planned to stay for two days but ended up staying for 18 days. It is a little pricy but if you take the weekly rate it is better.

The park is well maintained with 80% of the spaces taken up by park models. Normally we don't like parks with full timers or park models but this one was different. In RVPs homesteaders usually trash up the place but not here, these people have rules and standards that made our stay very enjoyable.

There are too many things available to do in the park and local area to list, but if you are looking for a friendly place to stay that has a lot to do, this is it. There are over 200 RV parks in the area and most of them provide top notch entertainment that is open to the public. We were busy every day and really felt like we were on a vacation. We even went to Mexico twice and had a wonderful time.

We would recommend this park and will stay here again.

Tucson KOA (formerly Lazy Days)

We stayed at this park just after it was bought by KOA for one night after having our MH serviced and found it to be well staffed and maintained, with easy access and large spaces.

This is a very nice park, we would stay here again and we do recommend it for one night or an extended stay.

Just outside Lubbock

Very clean and well maintained park with super friendly Management and staff! We stayed stayed here twice in our MH for a month each stay while we visited family and took care of basics before hitting the road full time

There is nothing in the park for kids or families except for a pool which was closed while we were there and few items in the office for sale. There is propane available next door, a lake and park across the highway and a Mexican Food restaurant within walking distance. Within a couple of miles there are gas stations, restaurants, fast food places and shopping.

If you are looking for a park that offers more than a place to stay, look elsewhere..but if you want a clean -secure place to use as a stop over or base camp, this is it. Some road noise from the highway but not bad.

They were expanding into a new section when we were there which should be done by now. Great rates, especially by the month.

We will stay here again and I do recommend this park.

Nice but noisy!

Nice clean park with big spaces, a pool and plenty of room for big rigs but if you like to sit outside in the evenings this is not the place for you. The road noise from the interstate is very, very loud and unpleasant.

Happy, Happy, Happy

One of the best maintained and staffed locations we've encountered in our travels. Easy access to the camp and all sites. Friendly staff at sign in and quick responses to e-mails with spot on driving directions.

The camp offers places for everything from a big rig pull through down to primitive camping by the river. So very well laid out and maintained that it was a completely restful experience.

Well located to many local attractions for the entire family to enjoy. On site areas for: volleyball, bad mitten, horseshoes, tubing on the river with in and out landings within walking distance of the sites. They have jogging and hiking trails, a stocked pond and golf cart rentals as well.

Level, gravel sites with well maintained grass surrounding them. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Shade trees are a little small yet but in a couple of years they will provide great shade.

This place is very clean and quiet you can sit outside and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains or take a very short walk to the Shenandoah River.

We are full timers and know a good park - this is a good one and we recommend it highly!
