March 2014 Visit

This is not an RV resort. This is a trailer park where they park RV's in vacant spaces. The photos and description of the park on the web site are not what you get when you arrive. At this time I am parked in my "space" looking at the back of a poorly maintained single-wide trailer. I do not have cable TV as advertised. The sewer connection is the remaining pipe from the trailer that was removed from this site some time prior. Roads are very narrow and hard to pull a large 5th wheel through.

The office was less than helpful with the simplest of requests. The trailer park is quiet and for the most part clean, however the noise from the bars was load enough to keep us awake from dark through 2:00 am, yes I know it is spring break but this seemed a little over the top. The pool was OK but nothing special.

Checking in was a real procedure even making us provide a copy of drivers license and insurance certificate for both the trailer and pull vehicle. This along with a signing a paper stating that we could not conduct prostitution on the property among various other rules.

Will certainly find a nicer and more cheerful place to stay in the future.
