Clean friendly park

Drove into Garibaldi without a reservation looking for an RV park with our 36' motorhome. Looked over several sites before driving into Harborview Inn & RV Park. A most friendly and professional staff greeted us and suggested we drive through the park as they had several sites available for our three night stay. We found the sites nicely landscaped and sites with new "clean" gravel. The sites were fairly close together divided by lovely green mowed lawn. It was a refreshing "find" and stayed for our three nights of sunshine at the Oregon coast in March. Easy walk to restaurants, boat launch, fish markets and downtown. Only draw back...next to lumber mill that can be noisy well into evening and early mornings. We have made reservations for a return trip in June.

Overly Generous!

I'm being generous giving Old Mill a one star rating. What a sad looking park/pasture. It all started with an attempt to make a reservation. The application and pictures looked very nice. I was told the staff at Old Mill would be contacting me. Well...guess what? No such phone call EVER arrived. So I checked with a competing park that also looked nice and found the weekend sites for my 36' motorhome were numerous...to my surprise. So we drove to Garibaldi without a reservation with hopes of finding a space on what was forecast to be a beautiful sunny weekend. Pulled into Old Mill and checked at the office at 4:30 pm. Door was locked and lights off. Drove the motorhome into the park dodging mud holes as we drove. This might have been a very nice park...at one time. We did not stay there. Ended up at Harborview for a most enjoyable weekend!
