One of the nicest FamCamps I've stayed in!

Great campground - concrete pads, big sites, quiet park and in view of Las Vegas! Lots to do in the area besides the Strip (Hoover Dam, Red Rocks, NASCAR, etc) The campground was actually on the Air Force Base, so it is very secure. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were a few sites that needed to be "cleaned-up." The rules were pretty clear about keeping your site presentable, but apparently that rule isn't enforced equitably :-( I would definitely stay there again, however!

Spent the winter here, and will be coming back next year!

I cannot wait to come back. Beautiful resort, large RV sites, (some sites have double patios so you can park your car on slab as well) very reasonable of you take advantage of the specials (Fall, 3-month, 4-month, annual) And this place is the Fountain of Youth! Pickleball, lawn bowling, wood shop, lapidary, tennis, shuffleboard, dances, pools, hot tub, and on and on. If you are bored here, it is your fault.

I can't give them 5 stars because of the golf course; sadly it is expensive and poorly managed by non-golfers. I played golf elsewhere at nicer courses for a lot less. But everything else has been fabulous.

Close to Phoenix, spring training ballparks, and lots of shopping, dining, movie theaters, etc. The best feature? The other folks that come here! I have never met such fun, nice, and caring folks.

Daily rate was my average cost given my long stay (6 months)

Beautiful Park!

This place is awesome! So much so that I opted to stay another night. Paved sites, lush grass between sites, beautiful registration building, golf course right in sight, a pool, and a hot tub. The park manager escorts everyone right to their sites.

Really nice park!

I stayed 2 nights here. Convenient to downtown B'ham. Easy access (it's an old KOA), very clean park, friendly staff, well stocked store on site, and has all the amenities you need. It's also close to a Home Depot if you need anything. While I was there, they were having a new roof put on the registration building, and fixing up the area around the pool. This place is probably going to get even better!

Resort?

Don't take your rig here. Noisy, very cramped, and screaming cats. The registration office is like a smoky bar. Disgusting. I should have left, but I had made a reservation well in advance. Even with a reservation, the manager was at a loss of where to put me (??) He claimed that a group of workers had just arrived and took priority.. So he "stuck" me between two campers that looked like they had been there for years. Junky & unkempt. I won't go back. The nearby casinos have RV parks that I should have checked out.

Cramped and unkempt

I had heard that this is a great place to visit. True. The park and Laser show were awesome. But the RV site was terrible. First, you have to pay $10 just to enter the park. THEN you pay for the RV site as well. I had made a reservation, so they knew what kind of site I needed. I was put in a "pull-through" site (ha!) that was so tight and on the edge of a cliff. I had to unhook my car immediately and maneuver my rig multiple times to get it as level as possible and away from a big tree. My site also seemed to be the only muddy and rocky site. The 50 amp was out, but at least they came right away to repair it. The guys that came to fix it were not very friendly and they talked to me like I was stupid. Wifi was non-existent. Never again.
