Yes, it?s a great park, but...

Sites are very hard to get in and out of - close together. And, even more importantly, they have raised the price to where it?s unaffordable.

Great People

We really like this park. The people and the chicken fried steak are wonderful. Our dogs loved the park.

OK, but .....

I like this park, because of the really nice people and the price, but leveling a coach is a major challenge. We dealt with that. Although the people are friendly towards our dogs, it?s not dog friendly, in that there is no place for them to have a good run. They had an arena open, but then locked it up. We can take them to the beach, but it requires a leash (can?t run free) or has too many dogs (scary). This is a little harder to deal with and may be a deal killer in the future.

OK

Stayed one night during summer. The woman who checked us in was informative and nice. The grounds are clean and flat with a tree and picnic table at each site. They have pull thrus, but had to unhook, because the sites aren't long enough. Mostly gravel and blacktop - no grass. Has the all important dog park, but no shade/grass. Takes Passport America.

Reviewers are mostly correct

First off, impossible to get to this park. Once here, the staff was very nice, but yes, using Passport America requires cash. Very hard to make turns for a 40' rig towing. Haven't left yet and am not looking forward to it. Only saving grace, the dog park is nice - no grass, but good shade.

Great Park

This is a wonderful park - not fancy, but good. The people are friendly and very accommodating. Got us an easy in, easy out spot. We had a great dinner at the cafe. The dog park is awesome. It's huge! No trees, but you can easily go there in the evening after the weather cool, because it's got lights. I don't five stars easily, but this campground earned them all.

OK

The staff here is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Spaces are mostly flat and roomy, but getting to and from your site can be a challenge. We pull a rather large pick-up, which makes it pretty hard. It was tougher an usual.

Really good RV Park

Staff is very friendly. Park is extremely clean and sites are flat and wide enough. Picnic table at each pull thru site. And, a dog park. Very close to town.

Really nice

We really like this park. The people are accommodating and informative. The spaces are roomy with a good amount of space between sites. The concrete sites may be on a hill, but the part where you park is flat. Really impressive. Has just the right amount of trees. A grassy dog park for traveling pets is adequate - not huge, but is Will do. I would have given this park five stars, but we had the only site with no picnic table. Everything else is perfect.

OK. Dog Friendly

Spaces are fairly flat gravel, but some are hard to get into. Each has a picnic table. Most important, it has a good size, grassy dog park.
