Stayed at this campground on a friends recommendation. We have a 45? rig and thought the spaces were tight especially with the big tree between our sites. Only 1 way in and out. Sites were gravel and a little sloped since our front tires came off the ground a bit. We stayed in one of the premium sites. Backed to a busy road and trains behind the campers across the road. Don?t think I will go back.
Anvil Campground has the best customer service around! They continuously go out of their way to help their guests. Anyone coming to visit Williamsburg should stay here. Great for all ages too and so close to all the attractions. Absolutely love this place!
Wonderful location and friendly staff. Great shower and restroom facilities. Nice laundry room and place was nice and clean. Now the bad. Trains trains and more trains in all hours of the night and day. They were so loud and would honestly shake the whole camper. They say they never hear anybody complain about it but I call bs because that and how tight the sites were what all the guests talked about while we were there. And did I mention tight sites what a normal campground calls a pull through site they call two back in sites. Stayed three nights and had to move on so we could get a entire night sleep.
The park was fine, counter person very friendly. Cost was high for the loud noise from cars driving by and the trains that zoomed by. Never saw anything about that in reviews. Clean bathrooms and showers. Pets friendly, but really not any grass for them.
Nice park. Friendly accommodating clean convenient
When in Williamsburg this is the place to stay! Staff is very friendly and helpful. All the amenities you could want are right here at a very convenant location
Very nice. Friendly and helpful employees. Good price compared to other cg,s in the area. We particularly liked the fact that the shuttle to the area attractions stops right at the campground. We camped in our truck camper in a tent site. Electric and water was included in the price.
