This is a gem

Great clean park. I think it may have seen renovation since the earlier reviews were done. The sites are level gravel. Some tent sites have pads. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with grates for cooking. Plenty of shade. Great Wifi. Sites are spacious but not huge. Roads are freshly paved. Big rigs are easily maneuvered. I'm 65 feet long. Registration is done at the campground with envelopes, cash and a drop box. Cards are not accepted. We stayed in late September so the park wasn't full. Bathrooms were new and clean. Very enjoyable.

Nice Woodsie Park

Rustic park privately owned by a great couple. Spaces are spacious and comfy gravel sites that are reasonably level. Full hookups include cable. They are currently expanding. It's February and there are several units in the park. I bet they are busy during the camping season.

From Ft Payne - approach on AL35. From Gault Ave turn on 5th St following the AL35 sign for 4.5 miles to the park. Park is clearly marked by a sign on the side of the road. Alternatively, from Gault, 1st St turns into Adamsburg Rd. The sign says, "Absolutely No Trucks" so...a class B or C not really a problem. Towing is not a good idea and big rigs are pretty much a no no.

This is a nice park. I'll be back.

Vandenberg fam camp

A clean and nice park. We stayed in a fifth wheel. We had a pull through across the street from the registration office. Signage to the campground is well placed and clear. Enter the Lompoc gate for commercial vehicles. Your rig will be inspected. Follow the road to California Ave. Turn left on California proceed till you see the fam camp on your right. I believe all power is 50 Amp so bring an adapter if you are less than that. Wifi has good signal but is non functional and being worked on since our arrival.

Pretty Nice Park

We are packed in pretty tight but the staff is great and the park is clean. The bathroom facilities at this time for men are porta potties but I brought my own so I don't care. They have four late model washers and dryers. A nice sized pool and a beach area along the river. This was a busy weekend so I had to accept 30 amp hookups. We are just learning our way around our coach so I considered this an opportunity to learn. The cable worked ok. The WIFI signal was, free, sufficient, but occasionally very slow.

Tule Recreation Area (COE)

Nice clean park with water and electric (20-50amp). We stayed there over Memorial Day and although the park was full with a lot of families and kids, it was peaceful and well managed. Most of the sites have some shade and although it was hot during the day it cooled off nicely about an hour before sunset. Bathrooms and showers were available but we brought our own. Dump station near the entrance. There is a bar near the entrance that had live music. Inside the RV we couldn't hear it and outside we enjoyed it. It wasn't very loud.
