Everyone nice and helpful. As with any place that have full timers, there is a "clique" this is an old KOA campground. Staff is wonderful. Some sights are VERY small. Not enough room between the big rigs, 5 feet, at the most.
I live close to the park. I am 64 and never known of the river rising that all RVs had to evacuate. I do believe that water rises and goes to the lowest point which would be to the South of the river not uphill. There are snakes but I have never seen a Gater.
It is a VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL PARK. Great park located on the Yellow River. Camp sights are large. Has a boat launch and limited fishing from the banks.
