Good location near I5. 80% full timers. Utilities are too far back in the spaces. Impossible to keep toad connected and reach water, sewer, elec & cable without multiple extensions.

Very enjoyable stay.

Clean & well maintained park. Good location right off SR 99. Check-in was a breeze with our packet ready outside the office. Very quiet overnight as well.

So so

Very basic. Angeled curbs delineating spaces difficult to negotiate.

Don?t recommend

This is an older park with small & tight spaces. 75% of the RVers are full timers, many construction workers with large pick-ups. The worst part, however, is Lenny?s attitude. On the phone and in person, he is short, curt and rude. My wife and our friend, on three separate occasions, experienced Lenny?s unaccommodating behavior. We will never stay there again.

Tired old county campground

This campground is nicely located next to a major highway (CA 1) and the Amtrak right-of-way! It is near Pismo Beach and the sand dunes. We are staying here only because all the other RV parks were full for the Labor Day weekend. It was build in the 1950's and seems to have few upgrades since. There seem to be a lot of full timers but I am not sure how that can happen in a county park. There is a pool, restrooms, 30 amp electrical, water and cable. No Wifi. Many sites are pull through.

Dirty & ill-maintained

We stayed here three nights in August, 2015. The park is well located; 7 miles from Monterey and within walking distance to the beach and a state park. It is next to the SR 101 freeway but the noise did not bother us.

However, the park is dirty. The sites have not been raked or cleaned up for a long time. The laundry room was dirty over the two days we used it. Lint, paper and dryer sheets on the floor. Cloths that sat on the counter for days and machines that were very old and problematic.

There was trash filling the trash can enclosures and it littered our campsite.

The electrical pedestals are broken at the base and falling over.

This park is surviving because of its location and not because of cleanliness and maintenance.
