A long time KOA with the normal facilities. Facilities clean. Most sites have concrete pads. Gravel roads. WIFI worked well. Many sites seem to look like long term residents with lots of possessions stored around and under their RV's - this is a major distraction from the appearance of the Park. The facility should be much better kept and attractive to justify the relatively high rates. With some work this park could be a 4-star facility
Good Sam and Passport America park. Two sections, north and south of the office. South section has gravel and grass sites, north section has level concrete pads. Location between the Mississippi and the levee makes a fine spot from which to watch river activities. Some shaded sites, some not. Restrooms are self contained with a shower in each one, well cared for. Didn't try pool as it was cold. Limestone roads make for some dusty condition. Seems a bit overpriced but some of that is due to high state and local taxes.
Beautiful, hilly, wooded location handy to city and Natchez Parkway. Terraced reasonably level sites. Reliable WIFI system. Restrooms clean but showing some wear. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay here again.
Convenient, well cared-for park. Plenty of long pull through sites. Good WIFI system and cable TV. Road noise can be an issue along the north end of the facility.
Lots of good facilities and well taken care of. Little things keep it from being 5-star:
Only have one WIFI hot spot and it has frequent outages.
They changed access code while we were gone without telling us. Good thing we came back during office hours.
Very good full service KOA in a quiet rural setting. Great staff always taking care of the facility.
Couple minor items:
WIFI frequently weak.
Many sewer connections 8 - 10 inches above ground level, requiring water and sewer to flow uphill.
We called 2 days ahead and were told we had a site for our 40 ft motorhome. When we arrived we were told that some people were not able to level their coaches on the site we were assigned. We drove through the site and had to reject it an go to an alternate RV Park in the area.
Nice looking small park but several sites are FAR from level.
Well cared for park, good gravel roads and sites. Right on access road so there is some road noise. Convenient for access to southern suburbs of Kansas City. Payment is only cash or check. $1 extra if you want to use their one- stall (not fancy) restroom. This is reason for 3 star instead of 4 star rating.
Clean, quiet park, most sites have at least some shade, many are well shaded. All sites have good gravel coverage. Most sites have a picnic table.
Price shown is with Good Sam discount.
