Centrally located for Gorge activities etc. first come/ served park, try to find spot In middle of east end as it is between train tracks and hwy 84, and a crossover close by to river so train horn is ON. White noise or unacceptable , your call-- location is it's draw.Water/ power only, dump sta. @ city plant ( hood river ) by beach park. Host is good, well shaded , paved spots

Some what quieter

Less traffic/ train noise , dry camping, no water, has flush toilets , good hiking trails, good shade-- almost too good, solar panel weak. Tight to get into over 30' -- well spaced sites, good camp host, safe place. Is one of few National forest camps, so passes will work. Discounted price cause of no water
