Serene spot! Fishing, swimming, boating and just plain relaxing. It's a tight fit in here, our 39' had trouble getting parked. Recommend 35' MAX to visit this friendly and beautiful location.
There are three National Forest CG close together. This one is called "Lowrey". Its beautiful! We have 30 amp service, water is available a few steps away. The restrooms are clean. Our rate was half due to our senior passes plus the $5 electric fee. Highly recommend this CG!
Great views! The staff is friendly and helpful. The daily ice-cream social is a nice touch.
The park is overpriced for what you get. Our 'site' was a dusty weed-patch. The mens showers were muddy. Perhaps some dust control within the park could mitigate the problem. There are better & cheaper places to stay in Leadville.
