Lake Mead in March

Super location to enjoy Lake Mead, the surrounding park, and Las Vegas. We toured the dam, explored the park, boated on the Colorado, and drove to Las Vegas. Nearby Boulder City is a great little town with NO gambling and some good small restaurants. The Railroad Pass Casino has the best Prime Rib for the money I have had. We stayed in Lake View lots and the view is fabulous. The staff is friendly and the grounds are very clean. It is a big park and most of the lots are permanently rented and occupied by mobile homes. There is only 1 park restroom/shower and it is small and far away. The camp store is nice but closes every day at 500P. The cable TV has been out for 3 days. They say a part is ordered. The Wi-fi doesn't reach to my lake view lot so be prepared to use your cell phone. My sewer, power connections were 30' away. My ATT cellphone works very well here. We stayed for 2 weeks and paid a weekly rate.

Great Place to stay

My wife and I camped here for 2 weeks. This is an excellent small RV parks. Owner/manager lives on site. Utilities are good. Wi-fi works great. There is no cable TV but the owner has installed a Direct TV network and will rent you a box for $2.50 per day (includes premium channels). The park is ~1/2 mile from town and is surrounded by mountain views. The bathrooms, rec room, and wash/dry room are all good. The lots are level and grassy with a paved patio. The park is very pet friendly with access to a large pasture to use for a dog run. There is a BBQ grill by the rec room if you want to have a party. Nearby Patagonia is a small town with 3 restaurants and a bar that also serves food. There is one gas station (has diesel) and a couple of small grocery stores. We will come back here again.

Big beautiful RV Park. Close to I 20 so a little noisy. Good prices in Feb 2015.
