We spent one night at Elk Creek Campground in August 2014. We had reserved our space in January 2014. Finding this RV park is a challenge, to say the least. It is located off Interstate 70 with vague directions which lead you through several suburban housing areas. When we arrived at this campground we noticed that most of the area is suitable for camping in tents, pop-ups, and SMALL RV's. When we finally found our camp-sight we were very disappointed. It was too small for our 36' fifth wheel RV both in length and width, the hook-ups were all in the wrong locations for RV hook-up, and they were literally hidden in bushes and tall grass. Thus, we had to choose between electrical power hook-up or water; we chose the former. The bathroom and shower facilities were filthy with water all over the counters and sinks; toiletries, paper towels, and bathroom tissue littered the floor. The "picnic table" at our site was rotted wood and broken. For "all of this" we paid $55.00 for a night. In the morning, when we checked out, my wife stated our disappointment, and the clerk (owner?) said "next time we'll treat you right." There will be no next time for us. This RV park is old, unkempt, and it's website is misleading with fake photos that do not accurately depict what it really looks like. Beware of this rip-off.
