Topsail Hill Preserve Review

This is a very nice RV park. The sites are separated with trees and plants for a little privacy. We stayed 3 nights and it was a very quiet park. The Park was in very good shape with the exception of some of the concrete in our spot at the entry point was uneven, which didn't affect our leveling the motorhome at all. The park was kept immaculate. Everyone was very friendly. They could use some pet refuse cans around the park other than the main dumpsters. The beach is 7/10 of a mile from the Park, but they have a tram that runs every hour taking campers to and from the beautiful beach. It was just a short walk from the tram drop off area to the beach. The restrooms were well maintained and clean. Highly recommend this park.

Park review

Don't know why this RV Park has a Good Sam Rating. It is basically a pull in and sleep parking lot. There is no picnic table. You have about a 5 foot strip beside your RV to set chairs if you want to set outdoors. The code the office provided to the restrooms did not work and the office closes at 4:30 p.m., so there is no one to give you a new code to get in the restrooms and showers. I can't give a review on them since we could never access them. The Wifi did not work unless you were in the office area. The "Pet Run" area is a strip of grass next to the area where children play. The asphalt in the sites was breaking up and very uneven for leveling you motorhome. The road noise was loud from the freeway, but our AC fan helped drown out the noise. I would not recommend this park unless it's a last resort and you just want to park and sleep. It was $33.00 a night without Good Sam's discount, $29.70 with discount.
