If you are a BIG rig do not camp here!

I am rating only the campground and not the cabins and retreat, but that being said, I don't have much good to say about this campground. I chose it as they accepted Passport America, so instead of $36 it would be $18, and we wanted to stay in this area for about 3 days to sight see. First off, the road to the campground is a narrow twisting road, no shoulder to speak of and also some low hanging branches. Secondly, this is an old campground and at one time it was probably a once-proud retreat~~not anymore. The neglect is obvious. The sites are very small, poorly maintained, and there are tree branches that you cannot avoid trying to get on your site. The blacktopped road is in very poor condition. Once settled in we found we could not get any TV reception AT ALL. No satellite due to the trees and could not even get local channels. They are also a "cash-only" business and we were never written up and never got a receipt. We decided to stay only 1 day as we were just not happy there. The lady that I talked to on the phone was very accommodating and pleasant when I first called for availability. That is why I gave it a 2 rating although I would like to give it just a 1-1/2. If you are a big rig do not bother coming to this campground.
