Nice but ...

This campground is beautifully laid out and the restrooms looked nice, what we could see, but they were locked. There was one unisex room available and it was quite nice but there was no hot water and the space was not heated, which made it nearly impossible to use.
This site is a few miles from I-75 but the road is gravel in many places and has a terrible "washboard surface which shook the daylights out of my truck and camper (37 ft fifth wheel).
This park looks quite new and still seems to be in the start up phase.
The sites assigned to short term visitors are in a grassy area in the middle of the park. They were OK and did not have any muddy areas at this time of year.
The approach road is a significant downer for me so I probably would not stay here again. However, the park itself is quite nice and clean.

Very nice. Newly renovated.

Loop A of this campground was newly renovated in July of 2014 and most sites are suitable for larger rigs and motor homes. However, the turnaround at the end of loop A (which you must take to park in the sites along the lake) is very sharp and on a side hill. I made it with a 37 ft. fifth wheel but would not do it again. If want those sites near the end of the turnaround you should back down the road to the site if you have a rig of some size and length.
The restrooms are brand new and among the best I have ever experienced in a campground anywehere. Each unit contains a stool, sink, and shower with a great shower head and they are well heated. Very, very nice.
Not many of the sites in the other loops are suitable for the larger rigs and the restroom facilities have not yet been upgraded to anything like those in loop A.
This is a very nice park, especially if you like to fish.
Overall a great park and campground and I would definitely stay again.
