Nice scenery and quiet park but millions of tiny ants will ruin your stay! Also they charge for everything! I'm surprised they don't charge for air. You pay for showers, fishing, (all ages plus you have to have Ca. State license), you pay for kids, dogs. The playground is about a mile from camping area! No place in camping area for kids to play even though there is plenty of room for one. No military discounts at all which you should be ashamed of! Definitely not family friendly.
Park was hard to get to with off ramp closed then we were parked next to huge barking dogs. The dogs were out all night so when we got up at 4am to leave they barked. Also cable did not work so we were glad only overnight as no tv.
Nice enough place but they charge you extra for electric even when we were only overnight guests. We left a $5. Deposit and still owed 1.20 more for overnight usage. Seems pretty steep as far as I'm concerned on top of nightly rate. Will not stay again.
