Government web site said open year round. Wrong. All sites said rv spots. Made the trip on a bright and sunny April 13 To find the gate closed. Went back to sites I looked at just to verify including this one. No mention of dates. Then went to alltrips. They had it about right. Open May to Sept. Sites limited to rvs 25 ft or shorter. Road not recommended for rvs. I'll second that. Thank you Jesus for the new diesel 4wd ram. The old f-150 and us too woulda been toast. Now I'll go see if my wife's ready to speak to me again
