If you don't like being alongside permanent people this is not your place. Probably 50 full time trailers. All gravel- no tables, grass or trees- basically a large gravel parking lot. We were disappointed when we arrived but our stay was ok. Not a pleasant place to spend time but for a quick overnight it was fine. Sites were very close together. Bathhouse was large and very clean. Couple at front desk very friendly. We were in a travel trailer and only needed electric so the price seemed fair with our passport discount.
We did stay at this park but is no longer run by the state- it is now private and called Brownville Riverside park and Landing. Looks like they are in the process of improving the grounds. There are no hookups and no water we found. Each site has picnic table and fire pit. We were the only ones there so we got a site right on the river. Couldn't locate anyone to pay or sign of any fees due-appeared to be free. Very quite and pleasant. There is a RV park next door with hookups for $25.
