Found this park after striking out with all other RV parks near Cheyenne due to Frontier Days event in mid July. Basis sites no frills, no wi-fi unless you stand in the office. A little pricey for the location but economics 101 supply and demand.
This park is mostly owner occupied or rental cabins with some small RV spaces interspersed throughout park. Clubhouse is very old and in need of some sprucing up. Not worth price of site fee charged. Maybe if you have one of the premium spots for the 36 foot plus coaches you would feel this was worth the cost but not for my $$.
Campground is bare parking lot style side by side sites no frills. Cash payment required no credit cards accepted. Outstanding Wifi signal. No cable TV. Great location to explore Newport and Portsmouth attractions.
Very quiet rustic camp sites. Better adapted for smaller (24-30 ft) motorhomes and trailers very tight turns and corners in campground but beautiful forest setting.
