What a relaxing Week!

What a relaxing and laidback place! There are W/E only sites right on the lake. Just beautiful. We opted for the FHU sites, unfortunately not right on the water, but you can see the water. Pretty level grassy sites are a nice size and have a picnic table and fire pit. Thought the $31/nite with no weekly discount was a bit high, especially for a county park. WiFi was not great and hit or miss. Playground right on the water. Horseshoes, tennis courts, short pier, and a ball field.

Comfortable but Over Priced

Seems like it is the only private campground in the area. Sites have picnic table and are grassy, ok sized. FHUs. There?s a petting farm and a pond. Some noise during weekdays from car dealership next door but overall quiet-except for the male peacock constantly calling his mate, lol. WiFi is almost useless, ok to check email. $40 is a bit high and they only take cash or checks

Pleasant and quiet w

Nice place. Staff so friendly and helpful. Nice sized grassy lots (gravel drive) with FHU, picnic table and fire pit. Lots of shade trees. Would definitely come back. About 14 miles off I80. No cable or WiFi.

What a Gem!

Rolled in on Sat of Memorial Day weekend and was fortunate enough to find a spot. This place is a gem. The park is beautiful. There are three areas for RV. All are electric only (thus only 3 stars) but you can fill up your water on the way in. There is a dump station but was not working during our stay. (There is also a dump station two miles down the highway at the rest area. Fishing is allowed at the little lake but no swimming due to fertilizer run off. (Why would you eat the fish?!) no cable and the WiFi was utterly useless. There are showers at the top of the hill near the furthest or the three Campgrounds. Very well maintained and nice trails to explore. Quiet. Cheap. Stayed an extra day to rest up.

Ok For Overnite

Looks relatively new. Have both W/E, dump station or FHU. Opted for FHU as furthest from I-80. Road noise is biggest problem, although with 99 degree heat the AC running all night knocks that out. Grow big grass between sites but no trees for shade, no picnic table. Didn?t use facilities so can?t speak to that but building appears new. No cable, connected to WiFi but couldn?t even load a web page. Price is Passport America price.

Very Nice Stay

Love the size of the sites and that they are spaced out nicely. Great paved area for vehicles, concrete patio for picnic table. Fire pit large but locked in place too close to the RV. Little road noise and random train. Only real complaint is that you pay $32/nite for FHU and on top of that must pay $8/day park fee. That?s a bit much. WiFi was pretty good.

Very Pretty

The area is very pretty and sits right on the Colorado River. Sites have some grass, a concrete area with a picnic table and shelter. There is a grill and a fire pit. Our site was electric only for $24/ nite plus $7 park pass. There is a spot to get water and to dump. Full service sites are $28 + $7. Nestled between I-70 and the train track you do have Noise. Luckily the train didn?t blow its whistle when going thru.

Great staff, nice and Quiet

Very friendly helpful staff. Park was nice and quiet. Sites pretty level, most FHU with a table and fire pit-but not all. Some are W/E (they have dump station) and they have you on a driveway or along the road. Cable has plenty of stations and WiFi is good. Only complaint is whoever planted the trees here gave it no thought. Here in May and it?s pollen season. The trees have long things with dandelion gone to seed like fairies that are flying like snow everywhere. So much that they cost the ground. Can?t eat (or drink) anything outside. Really can?t even sit outside as they Fl into your mouth and nose.
Paid $38 for FHU and $30 for W/E driveway site. That was with some discount but not sure what.

Relaxing Week

Very strange arch sites but the site to park on is cement and great grassy area with a creek. Picnic table but no fire ring. Rolling hills around. Facilities clean. Advertised WiFi but then they said it was down for the next week and was not guaranteed. Potholes in the front could be repaired. No cable but antenna worked okay altho for some reason NBC did not come in. It?s right off I-80 and there?s a little background noise between t not enough to be a bother. Register at the convenience store and then there is a camp host. There are some old rigs that look to be long term but area is kept clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again. $34 plus tax was $37 nite.

Nice Place to Overnight

Good size sites with FHU. PT and backin available. No cable or WiFi. We had a devil of a time leveling out on site 6. Found out later a big rig previously had sunk in and, got stuck and created huge holes. Owner had filled it in but our jacks & blocks and wood still sunk in a good foot. Other issue is Road Noise, it?s right off I-80.
Upside are the beautiful mountains and the park backs up to a lovely horse pasture. Husband and wife owners are very nice.
