If you like to look at Manatee's this is a nice place to see them. From the campground you can walk along the Manatee river and see and abundance of them.
Lots of room. Love to get up early and walk the trails with the dogs. I have stayed at this park several times over the years and have never had a bad experience.
The back woods roads to get to this park could use some tree trimming. Hit a few. And the park looks to be mostly Seasonals. Fire ring on the site next to me was only 5 feet away from my coach. Yup the sites are a little small. Second time I've stayed in this park and it'll be the last. 59.50 a night:-(
The space I had was so small I couldn't put the awning out. To get in and out of the sites everyone around you has to move their vehicles because there's no place for them but in the road. I felt more like I was in a hotel then in the campground. The staff was all great band played in the bar till 10 at night keep in mind it's an open bar very noisy.
Stay here for a night every time I travel to Florida. pull through's work but they're a little short staff always friendly. Lots of room to run the dogs.
Nice campground spaces are a little close together and the cabins get a little noisy when they get full other than the staff is friendly I would stay again
