Transmission problems caused us to cut vacation short. needed emergency place to stay over night. Stopped and found this diamond in the middle of nowhere. Most beautiful sunset ever. Very nice place. Road on the way in was rough, but definitely worth the dive!
We lived here for 8 mos in our fifth wheel. Price per month including trash, cable, water, playground, $75 credit toward power bill, close to Birmingham.
We stayed here overnight due to a storm on our way south. The office was closing when I called nice man said pick any available spot. In the morning just stick a check with good Sam discount $25 through the locked office doors. Full hook up, quiet, nice park, Wifi was excellent. Just what we needed for one night.
We've visited here many time our stay was awesome as always. Price has gone up almost doubled. Higher rate on Friday and Saturday nights plus $7 resort fee per day! Seems Alabama is broke. The park is great. We stayed on the canal and caught fish and a turtle. Something huge broke my pole before snapping my 20 lbs test line. Try the fishing pier $6 to fish with campground discount, free walk on pass. The bike/walk trails are the best in Alabama. So much more here to enjoy than just the beach! We will be back!
We visited the campground right after a long period of heavy rain. The lake was a little muddy. Hubby still managed to catch a 3+lbs. bass and a few smaller. Very nice walking trails, playground, fishing, huge lake. Our view from lot #2 was awesome and private! We will be back!
